No - you can choose to train either in a gym or at home.

If you’re training at home, you’ll need access to a good range of dumbbells. Adjustable dumbbells that go up to 20kg+ (or a full set) are recommended so you can continue progressing your weights over time, which is key for building muscle and getting stronger.

Gym training does allow for more variety due to access to equipment, but you can get great results in both settings as long as you apply progressive overload and train with enough intensity.

Built Strong gives you the option to train either full body 3 days per week or an upper/lower split 4 days per week.

You can choose the routine that best fits your schedule and stay consistent with that across each program phase.

Both options are designed to help you build muscle, get stronger, and see results - what matters most is showing up consistently, training with intensity and progressing your workouts over time.

Yes. Each exercise includes 2-3 alternatives, so you can choose options that suit your equipment, experience level, or any limitations.

Yes - you can. There’s no ties or contracts here.

Upon sign up & with each month’s payment, you are emailed your invoice and payment portal together. If you have lost this, you can also find your payment portal under “Billings & Membership” in the app. You can manage your subscription in this portal and cancel here.

Once your free trial ends, your subscription will automatically continue at $20 USD per month.

You can cancel at any time BEFORE your trial ends if you decide it’s not the right fit.

If you cancel, access to all training programs, app features, and future program updates will finish at the end of your trial or billing cycle.

No - Built Strong is a self-led training app, not a coaching program.

You’ll have access to structured programs, exercise instructions and training education, but there is no personalised coaching, check-ins, or accountability support.

If you’re looking for coaching, nutrition guidance, and support, Lean Body Blueprint would be a better fit.

Built Strong is suitable for beginners through to intermediate lifters.

If you’re new, you’ll learn how to train properly with structure and guidance.

If you’re more experienced, the progressive programming will help you continue building strength and improving your physique.

Built Strong is focused on strength training, as this is what drives muscle growth, strength and long-term body composition changes.

You can include cardio if you enjoy it or want to increase your overall activity, but your results will come from consistent, progressive strength training. A simple cardio protocol guide is included but if you want to learn more about how to use cardio alongside your nutrition and training for a full transformation, Lean Body Blueprint is the place to be.

Built Strong focuses on structured, progressive strength training - not random workouts - plus it gives you the education to apply it correctly for results.

Instead of jumping between sessions or chasing variety, you’ll follow a clear plan designed to help you build muscle, get stronger, and see measurable progress over time.

Terms and Conditions - Built Strong Membership

Built Strong Membership is operated by Big Life Experiment Pty Ltd, trading as Cathy Morton Fitness.

By purchasing, starting a free trial, or using the Built Strong Membership, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Membership Overview

Built Strong is a digital fitness membership providing access to training programs, educational resources, and related content delivered via approved platforms including Everfit and associated systems.

Your membership is for personal use only and may not be shared, copied, redistributed, or resold.

2. Free Trial and Subscription Billing

Where a free trial is offered:

  • You may receive access for the stated trial period at no charge.

  • Payment details may be required at signup.

  • Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your membership will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

  • You will then be charged the displayed monthly membership fee (currently A$20/month unless otherwise stated).

3. Automatic Renewal

All memberships renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before your next renewal date.

By subscribing, you authorise recurring payments through our payment provider Stripe or any future authorised processor.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your membership at any time through your customer billing portal or payment account settings.

  • If you cancel during a free trial, no further charges will be made.

  • If you cancel after payment has been taken, your membership remains active until the end of the current billing period.

  • No partial refunds or prorated credits are provided for unused time.

Deleting the app or ceasing use does not cancel your subscription.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the membership and immediate access to content, refunds are generally not provided.

Refunds may be considered only in cases of duplicate payment, billing error, or where required by applicable consumer law.

6. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Built Strong provides general fitness and educational information only.

It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional healthcare.

You should consult your doctor or qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you have any medical condition, injury, illness, are pregnant, postnatal, or have concerns about your readiness to exercise.

7. Assumption of Risk

Exercise carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, or aggravation of existing conditions.

By participating in any training program provided through Built Strong, you voluntarily accept these risks and participate at your own discretion.

You are responsible for exercising within your own limits, using safe technique, and seeking professional guidance where needed.

8. Results Disclaimer

Individual results vary.

We do not guarantee weight loss, body composition changes, strength gains, or any specific outcome.

Your results depend on many factors including consistency, adherence, training history, nutrition, lifestyle, recovery, and individual circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Big Life Experiment Pty Ltd, Cathy Morton Fitness, and Catherine Morton are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the membership.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where there is:

  • abusive behaviour

  • misuse of the platform

  • sharing login credentials

  • unlawful activity

  • breach of these Terms

No refund is required where access is removed due to breach.

11. Changes to Membership or Terms

We may update programs, content, pricing, platforms, or these Terms from time to time.

Any material pricing or billing changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably practical.
